The purchasing processes can be a strange shifting enigma, but it shouldn't have to be. At Sundquist, we want you to be as knowledgeable as possible. After all, buying a home can be fraught with paperwork, things called "mutual acceptance" and "escrow," and plenty of other things that make a home buyer shake in their boots. We want to clear up your questions and give you a walk-through of what you can expect when you buy a home, and what Sundquist does to make it a little easier.
We're also answering any questions you may still have, so feel free to leave a comment or a tweet @sundquisthomes.
1. Start your home search. This is the time to figure out what you're looking for. Do you want three bedrooms or four? Is a 2,000 sq ft home a good size or is something larger better for your lifestyle? What kind of garage space would you like? These are all questions that steps one and two should resolve. This is also the time to consider whether an agent is right for you or not.
2. Again, a bit of the same from step one, but now you know you're serious. Maybe keep a journal of what you've found you like from this home or what you don't like about that home. It's important to learn which points are deal breakers and which aren't. After all, there may not be a home that has absolutely everything on your love list.
3. Step three is one of our favorite steps! We have designed our homes to fit a wide range of lifestyles with homes in Bothell, Shoreline, Edmonds, and Lynnwood, Washington, as well as more coming soon in the greater Seattle area. We craft our homes with loving details that you won't find from a national builder, and are constantly working to provide current but timeless homes to enjoy all your day-to-day adventures in.
